Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and equipment in accordance with
company policies.
● Manage purchase orders, from order placement to delivery tracking and ensuring timely
receipts.
● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
● Maintain and update the procurement database, ensuring accurate records of orders, deliveries,
and invoices.
● Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability; assist in negotiating terms
and pricing.
● Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, resolve order discrepancies, and handle any
issues related to quality or quantity.
● Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processes.
● Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and vendor performance.
● Support continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
● 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
● Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supplier management.
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
● Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
● Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
● Familiarity with inventory management software.
● Experience in contract management and cost reduction strategies.
● Knowledge of market trends and supply chain management.
